Definitely think that giving up bread has been a massive help. Apart from anything else, having bread (esp white bread) made me hungrier for more bread. Glad to have that behind me.
In October 2007 I had weight loss surgery, and promptly lost 50 plus kilos. By February 2009 I had separated from my husband, struggled to lose more weight, had a mental breakdown, and been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, Major Depression, General Anxiety Disorder, OCD and Binge Eating Disorder.
I've since regained some of my weight, and started binge eating and emotional eating, and generally losing sight of my original goal of health and freedom. So I'm re-starting this blog and my journey!
